Terms of Service

1. Who this applies to
ELYT Media Publisher is operated by an individual developer, for that individual's own YouTube channel. It is not offered as a product or service to any other person or organization. These terms govern that operator's use of the application; there is no separate end-user audience.
2. Permitted use
This application may only be used to prepare, upload, configure, and — after explicit human review — schedule video content on the channel its operator has authorized it against. It is not licensed or intended for use managing any other YouTube channel, Google Account, or third party's content.
3. Dependency on YouTube API Services
This application uses YouTube API Services and depends on their continued availability and terms. By using this application, the operator agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. If those terms and this document conflict on any point governed by YouTube API Services, the YouTube Terms of Service control.
4. Prohibited use
- Using this application against any YouTube channel or Google Account without that account owner's direct authorization.
- Using this application to publish content publicly without a human review and approval step having occurred.
- Using this application for spam, bulk/mass automated publishing, or any use that would violate the YouTube Community Guidelines or YouTube API Services' prohibition on automated, deceptive, or abusive access.
- Attempting to use this application to access YouTube data or functionality beyond the single OAuth scope it requests.
5. No warranty
This application is provided on an as-is, as-available basis, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. YouTube API Services availability, quota, and behavior are controlled by Google/YouTube and outside this application's control.
6. Account authorization and revocation
Use of this application requires authorizing it against a Google Account through Google's own OAuth consent flow. That authorization can be revoked at any time from Google Account → Security → Third-party apps & services, independent of this application.
7. Privacy
Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms by reference.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated if the application's actual behavior changes. The effective date below reflects the version currently in force.
